In each post, we introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Next up, the very talented Greg Johnson, who is no stranger to horror films or stage productions. Locally, you may have seen him in production with Mercury Players and Broom Street Theater.
In each post, we will introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Jason Dean is a co-writer for the script who is responsible for much of the clever dialogue. He also assists with marketing and created our website.
In each post, we will introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. You may recognize Carmela from Incest Death Squad, and she plays Abigail in our film.
Abigail is a knife-throwing priest and a lesbian, but her background is fairly mysterious after her teen years . Abigail grew up as a stereotypical juvenile delinquent, stealing candy, firecrackers, and later bicycles . After she was kicked out of several foster homes, she ended up at a Catholic orphanage. At the orphanage, Abigail found God and also her own sexuality after trysts with an older nun. After she left the orphanage, she seemed to almost disappear for several years, until she resurfaced in Wisconsin recently.
As we mentioned during our fundraiser, we also need the following props for the movie. Take a look at our list, and if you have any of the items listed below, email us at thenewworldhorror at gmail dot com. We also will gladly accept donations of food and beverage items for when we start filming, and we are always looking for volunteers!
In this series, we introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Next up is a member of our marketing team, Sarah Bartash, who also serves as a script supervisor and a producer. If you enjoyed our March Madness horror brackets, you can thank Sarah.
In each post, we will introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Dana Pellebon is starring as Michelle in the film, and is well known in the Madison arts community. Most recently, she was seen as Melpomene in the Mercury Players Theater production of Xanadu.
Michelle grew up in a tough neighborhood in Chicago, losing her mother to cancer at a young age, and was raised by her grandmother. While Michelle was more into reading and academics in school, she soon found herself in an unlikely relationship with an abusive boyfriend. Gang violence eventually took her younger brother and grandmother from her after her boyfriend met his own violent end. Michelle decided she had enough of Chicago, and went to college on academic scholarships. While she still keeps people at a distance, Michelle is generally respected at the elementary school where she teaches English and history and is also head of the teacher’s union. She is living the American dream and making her grandmother proud. Until The New World Horror….
In each post, we will introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Adam Schabow is the creative force behind the film, the one who decided to write a script about tea party zombies and then recruited people to help bring his vision to life. He has many roles in the film, including director, writer, producer, and also stars as Russ.
Russ learned early in life, that when something is bothering him, watching a movie shoves that feeling away for a few hours.
People are surprised by his lack of ambition. After high school, he floated around, working from one meaningless job to another. When the recession hit, he had no specific skill set, so he found himself struggling to get by. This didn’t bother Russ because he doesn’t need much. He lives in a studio apartment, where he has made an island for himself. Russ finds all things political boring and uninteresting. Russ just wants to live alone in his island…aka his studio apartment. Until The New World Horror….
In each post, we will introduce you to the cast and crew of The New World Horror. Joshua James plays Jules, a blogger and the creepy star of our teaser trailer.
Jules is a self-involved blogger who has his hands in everything, especially if he thinks there is an opportunity for personal gain. He acts. He’s in a band. He writes. He expects everyone to promote his new project and claims to be pro-community, but mysteriously disappears when friends or acquaintances ask for his help. He’s comfortable covering local politics, but his articles are bland and predictable, always choosing the progressive side of things. While he makes little money working at a community coffee shop, he’s a rock star in the blogging and art community. He’s boring…but people kiss his ass anyway. Until The New World Horror….
